Alex is an accomplished commercialisation professional who cares about people and animals. With Otago Innovation since 2003, she loves science with potential to improve health & wellbeing to provide for a good life. Alex has a number of degrees including a PhD in Photochemistry and led Product Management & Marketing for Neuraxpharm in Germany. She lives with kiwi husband, rescue cats, working dogs and a flock of sheep on a lifestyle farm in Taieri Beach.
Alex serves on KiwiNet Emerging Innovator and Pipeline Committees and provides governance for start-up companies, health-related charities and animal welfare.
